Maybe I was sleeping in class, but I thought breastfed children and babies
didn't need store-bought bifidobacteria, because their diet ensured that
those bacteria would be happy to proliferate in their guts, at no charge
whatsoever.

One of the many magnificent components of our milk is bifidus factor, which
promotes the growth of this bacterium specifically.

Please bring me up to date if I have missed something.
