This is in the UK papers today.

We have a proposed law for England (they already have one in 
Scotland) to make it an offence for someone to prevent a mother bf 
wherever she has a right to be....but it is a 'private members bill' 
which won't get government time.

The same paper which carries this story today is doing a follow-up. 
My eldest daughter is a journalist on this paper - a mass-circulation 
tabloid - and she is part of a team putting together a country-wide 
account of experiences. We will see a sympathetic longer piece later 
this week.
