Their initial statements about breastfeeding dyads are unscientific and
unintelligent. (Ask for help from someone who is not sick to feed and care
for your baby, if possible. If you are sick with flu and are breastfeeding,
someone who is not sick can give your baby your expressed
milk.

This seems to happen with other viruses, etc, where we have science
background and it's ok to ignore it all the sudden because "this is different"
somehow. I would be happy if they modified the wording to: "Ask for help from
someone who is not sick to feed you and care for you and your baby, if
possible. That person can tuck your baby in bed safely with you and watches
over the you providing whatever support is needed." I can imagine there are
some who are in such a weakened state that they are barely able to move.
They probably need help with just about everything OTHER than breastfeeding.
If they are too weak to nurse lying down, how are they going to sit up and
express milk... and if someone can hold a pump to their breasts for milk,
why not a baby?...

Peace,
