Hello all, I have a question that is stumping me.........

I spoke, on the phone, with a para 3, experienced bfeeding MOB Friday who has been experiencing what she describes as "no let down on my L. side".   Baby is 10 weeks old and up until baby was 6 weeks she had no problems nursing.  

-She now states that she will not have a let down unless she feeds baby on her right side first then the L. will respond.  

-If she is pumping (single pump) she will not get any milk from left breast unless she stimulates her R. nipple while pumping. Then she gets as much milk as from her R. breast.

-She had implants between baby 2 and this baby - about 1 yr. ago, under the muscle.  The incision is under the breast about 
1 1/2 inches, acc. to MOB. 

-She is experiencing low milk supply due to a misinformed Dr. telling her she had to wean baby, when baby dropped 2lbs. in 2 weeks.  Bfeeding is VERY important to this MOB and she has been working very hard to build back up her supply and is very discouraged that she is now having this prob.

I have not seen this mom in person yet, I have asked her to come into our clinic next week but do not know if she has scheduled an appt.   Anyone seen this before or have any suggestions?  Thank you!
