Dear all -
I want to send out heartfelt thanks to all of you brave, wonderful,
thoughtful, caring, on-top-of-it lactnetters who post on the issues, both
clinical and political. Every day I check lactnet to see what's new and my
ability to help mothers is tremendously improved as a result. You help me
update my advice, select better books, find excellent latch photographs,
follow the convoluted IBLCE issues, improve my counseling skills and, in
general, remember just what it is I am supposed to be doing for the trusting
families who come to me.

MRSA and breastfeeding? Got an answer. Green milk? Got an answer. WHO
growth charts? Hey, new about these before they came out! Need CERPS? Yup,
know where to go. Perspective on how others are practicing? Got that too.

If any of you ever wonder why you take all that time to put together those
wonderful posts you can think of the hundreds of folk like me that you are
helping - and all those mothers who benefit as a result.

Very very gratefully,
Joanna Koch IBCLC, N Ca
