I take offense at the above statement, which I know NOT to be true.  There
are many valid reasons to have a C/S - not all of them medical.  The literature
is not at all clear as to the relative safety or long term consequences of C/S
vs. vaginal delivery.  Intelligent, informed people may differ in their
decisions, without attributing ulterior motives.
