I am working with a mom who has had a sinus infection on and off since
December.  Her physician prescribed Ceftin for 3 weeks.  The Ceftin
helped the sinus infection but didn't clear it.  Her physician has now
prescribed Tequin and has told the mother that she cannot nurse while
taking this antibiotic.  The pharmacist said this drug has not been
approved for breastfeeding mothers.  Baby is 6 months old and healthy.
I looked in Dr. Hale's book, but found no references on this drug.
Could someone please advise...
