If you are a passionate and committed professional and want to make a
lasting difference for children, the world's leading children's rights
organization would like to hear from you. UNICEF seeks a *Nutrition
Specialist (Infant Feeding)* to be based in its Programme Division, New York
Headquarters.

Under the guidance of the Senior Advisor, Nutrition (Infant and Young Child
Nutrition), you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and
support in all aspects of the protection of breastfeeding and infant feeding
(both in routine settings and in emergencies) within the context of the
Global Strategy on Infant and Young Child Feeding, adopted by the World
Health Assembly and UNICEF Executive Board in 2002, and the joint United
Nations Framework on HIV and Infant Feeding.

Your profile:
Advanced university degree in public health, or social science.
Minimum of eight years professional work experience at national and
international levels in infant feeding, public health and programme
management. Five years relevant experience in developing countries.
Knowledge of public health systems and early childhood care an advantage.

knowledge/technical leadership.
Fluency in English and another UN language is required.
