Did anyone find out where this came from (and I don't mean "Sheffield"!)?
I agree with Melissa that the mother's blood group and the pushing stage
of labor scores sound weird, and I'd love to know the rationale. Also,
where was maternal smoking as a determinant? At first glance, this
"Birth Score" sounds very superficial and pop-medicine, which can produce
a rebound effect on the public instead of the desired one of really
educating. This sort of thing COULD be very positive and useful, but one has
to be careful. Ah, well. Judy K
