I work at 2 area hospitals and have  gotten a request from Abbott (can I
use the name???) for samples of breastmilk, esp colostrum in "large
quantities" (like any mom in her right mind would part with the stuff!!!).

They even offered payment (to the donor...not me!). Now I know they make
formula but the researcher said he was doing a study on breastmilk and
identifying factors for breast cancer and possibly later developing some
sort of a test. (testing what I did not ask).  He has called a few times
and I keep putting him off.  Has anyone else gotten this sort of call???

It would be great if that is really what they are doing with the
milk......but who know???
