Just a guess, but a breast reduction could *certainly* cause damage to the
breast ennervation and blood supply, which could cause these symptoms, or
aggravate them in a woman who already has Reynauds.

Reynauds, in my experience also seems to include often cold and blanching
fingers and toes, as well as often the tip of the nose and ears. If this
mother doesn't have the other sx of this condition, she can still talk to
her OB about treatment. Many docs will use Nifedipine, Captopril or
Terbutaline to great success with classic Reynauds, whether it would work
with aitrogenically caused, I have no idea. As this medications promote
blood flow to the extremeties, one of them may be of help. She may want to
talk to her OB as well as to report this condition to the Plastic Surgeon
who sliced her in the first place, or even this doctor's association's
governing body. sigh.
