Dear Lactnetters:
I was trying to do research on the Amer. Academy of Pediatrics website with
regards to the idea that it "recommends" vitamin and iron supplements for
breastfed babies at four months of age. I looked throught the index of
position statements for the Committe on Nutrition, and no such
"recommendation" was found.
Am I missing something? The Breastfeeding Answer Book, of course, has
notations about this but they are from the Journal of Pediatrics and other
journal articles, not from the AAP position statements.

TIA,
Lisa Jones, LLLL, in Wellington, Florida
