I'm having trouble understanding why people feel that an exhibition about
sex shouldn't be off limits to children. Obviously, a 5 month old isn't
going to care about or be offended by or even notice the content of the
exhibition, but that seems to me to be beside the point. Should a nursing 5
year old be allowed to go in? What if parents want to take their 8 year old
and 4 year old? Should they be allowed to, or can the organizers say "no
children" and enforce that rule? Children under 21 aren't allowed in bars
in the United States, whether they are 19 years old and have a fake ID or
whether they are nursing babes in mother's arms. Adults only means adults
only. This is a voluntary exhibition, right, not a job or an educational
opportunity. Why is this an issue?
