Hi everyone!
And yet another nipple confusion/ preference post. I'm so concerned
about this controversy. I do not want to get into the issue of whether it
exists or not (to me and many, many other LCs that I know, we KNOW that it
exists). I just don't see the point in arguing about it's existence. I am
very concerned about this article circulating amongst doctors, and I'm also
concerned about the division that these creates in our LC commmunity. There
are so few of us that we need to be UNITED. We cannot afford to be divided
on the nipple preference issue.
I believe that Chloe's research involved British women, and some
babies go 10 and 1/2 weeks with a bottle before they go back to the breast.
Well America is a society with fax machines and microwaves. I don't know
one mom who would work ten weeks to get the baby back on-- Gotta sign
off!!!!!! Debbie Albert
