This formula is not intended for infants, and would not be approprite.
To my knowledge, there is no appropriate organic formula for infants. At
least I do not know of one. The components of this milk formula may be
inadequate or overadequate with regard to an infant's needs.

Best, Kathleen

Subject: question about a formula option

Hello everyone,

I am working with a mom that needs to supplement with some formula (she
has very low supply - suspected primary lactation failure). Mom is
using the Lact Aid for supplementing but needs formula for her baby.

She asked me about a formula she wanted to use. Problem is I'm not
familiar with it.

Has any one had experience supplementing a baby under 12 month with
Babys Only Organic Dairy Based powered formula (from Nature's One)? It
says it is a toddler formula and to ask the pediatrician if using for an
infant under 12 months. Mom asked her pediatrician and he had no
experience/knowledge of the brand.

Are the nutritional components acceptable for a 11 week old?

Mom really does not like the other main stream option that are around
and since she is only giving her baby a small amount for breast milk she
wants the best supplement option.

Your help and previous experience if appropriate would be wonderful!

Thanks,

Summer
