Hi All

Had a call from a nursing Mother to day. At 10 weeks post partum started on Domperidone. Formula was also introduced at the same time. around the same time mum noticed a rash around the neck and Mum thought it was a heat rash. To-day (14 weeks) the baby has been diagnosed with Eczema
Has anyone heard that Domperidone has been linked to Eczema
I am wondering if its the formula not the domperidone as she was advised to change to a soya base because her first child has a wheat allergy. Baby was fine on another formula. Where can I get information about soya based formula I recollect it can cause high levels of estrogen? The mum feels it looks more like a hormone rash than eczema

The other question is can she take Domperidone long term, it appears her supply drops off when she reduces the dose to 10mg daily and other herbal supplements dont work for her.
Your thoughts and experiences would be gratefully received

Sincerely

June Nicholls
