**And apart from that... the world is bigger than just the US and to me,
many of those long lists of credentials are complete abracadabra. Because I
don't know what they mean, they make no sense to me whatsoever. Consider
this: write a good post and let others judge how competent you are. To me,
adding long rows of credentials sometimes seems like a real sign of
weakness: do you need to add all that, to show you are competent...?
Shouldn't the strength of your competencies and skills and expertise show
from what you say? With inner strength, you don't need the outer strenght of
all those letters. Respect needs to be earned and although society based
upon meritocracy is still far away, we can at least try to develop one here.
