I always found that a layer between me and the baby helped a lot, like a
diaper or cotton receiving blanket over my arm.  The reality of life,
however, is that nursing a heat sensitive baby in the summer was the
best push for using the air conditioning I had until hot flushes!  Just
look at as a gift you are giving yourself because you are
breastfeeding.
