Hi All,
I am working with a mom who has had a lot of sinus, flu like conditions for
several months now. Her doctor is recommending chelation therapy to remove
mercury and other metals from her system. She is to be admitted to the hospital
next week on IV with dimmercaptopropanylsulfonate. The doctor has insisted that
she must pump and discard her milk for two weeks after the completion of this
therapy. This is her sixth child so she has a lot of nursing experience. This
baby is 13 months old. Mom is not willing to wean but has been so ill that she
feels like this may be her only hope for a "normal" life.
I would greatly appreciate any info on the substance above, as I cannot find a
thing!!
