Debbie you are sooo right. Here I sit at my office, preaching to a choir that just doesn't seem to "get it". However, this story is on my lips telling EVERYONE in this office that will listen. Yesterday, I was in a meeting with a girl who just couldn't "believe you are still nursing your child...and she is almost 3". The idea of a CHILD at my breast just made her shudder. I shook my head and just said, well the feelings I get when she comes to my breast makes my heart swell. Today MY head is held higher, as I KNOW that my daughter wouldn't starve if I were in the same conditions as Kati Kim. Heck...if I had to...I would RElactate my soon to be 7 yr old son...(who nursed for a year himself but finds the idea of it "funny" now) IF I needed to. At least my body wouldn't let him down either. I feel like shouting it to the world today, however, I will sit quietly and pray that another miracle will be showered upon her little family, and her husband and those beautiful girls' daddy will be found safe and sound and they will be reunited soon.
