From a subscriber and friend of Vicky's, we have had a request to post
this notice, and in our judgment, it is a good reason to make an exception
to the general Lactnet rule against soliciting financial support.
For those who don't know her, Vicky is a newly retired IBCLC and long-time
active member of the Lactnet community. She is gravely ill, and her friends
