I would appreciate some help with this query from a young woman who
attended my antenatal class on breastfeeding. She has given me permission
to post. She is 36 weeks pregnant, healthy and doing well so far in her
pregnancy Within the last 10 days she has experienced excessive leakage of
milk from one breast only, so much so that she has to wear a breastpad and
change it at least twice a day as the pad is soaking. The other breast
does not leak at all. She has not stimulated her breasts at all, this was a
sudden spontaneous leakage which has not abated since then. I have looked
in the archives but with no luck, please help with advice for me.
Many Thanks,
Janine Johnson RN. RM. IBCLC
