A missionary mom in a foreign country has just been diagnosed with dengue
fever. Mother has been told to stop nursing her exclusively breastfed baby
(age unknown-- query referred through friends). I did a quick Medline search
and came up with one article addressing dengue fever and pregnancy that also
suggested breastfeeding would be protective. Can anyone else address this
issue? I'd like to assume breastfeeding is good, not bad, but would love to
have additional validation.
