A few days ago I got a call from a LLL leader about a growing baby taken off BF b/c of reflux since I know the LLL leader well I simply said ":That's stupid!"
Last week while talking to our hospitals prenantal class I was once again unhappy about them giving out a formula companies "Breastfeeding Gift Pack" complete with formula and weaning info.
As usual I sat myself at the other end of the table from it and out loud make a piont of doing so. While briefly discussing SIDS I mentioned breastfeeding decreasing the risk and then holding up the formula said "this stuff increases the risk"
