Unfortunately psoriasis is a chronic skin conditon
(not curable :-( Family history in about 1/3 of cases, suggesting some
genetic contribution. It has relapses and flares. Thought to be some sort
of an immune dysregulation. Stress, weather etc. can trigger flares.
There are all sorts of treatments, most commomly topical steroids. If small
patches treat locally with steroid ointments is best plan.

To fit our list - breastfeeding has nothing to do with psoriasis. Baby's
other allergies may be related to maternal intake (ie:cow's milk or other
foods).
