In my experience as a League Leader, I saw many babies on meds for supposed
reflux. I often thought to myself, "Now, really, are ALL these babies truly
having reflux issues?" My suspicion on this is right in line with yours,
Johanna. I think all these meds are covering up other issues such as MER,
oversupply, etc. In some cases that I witnessed, the meds didn't even do
that much to solve the vomiting; but in the cases where the meds did help to
minimize vomiting, you gotta wonder if your theory about overfeeding is
accurate. I personally think you have a very good point. I wish our system
of medicine was more about accurately understanding natural body functions
and truly solving root health issues and was less about covering symptoms
with pharmaceuticals.
