Subject: Sub optimal latch

Hi I have already posted this request but there was no response, please does anyone have any ideas.
Hi everyone any ides to help this situation.
Permission to post
Baby boy-frst baby, term, spontaneous labour, spontaneous birth, no analgesia, physiological 3rd stage, skin 2 skin for 90 minutes plus, first BF at
15 mins-assisted by midwife to facilitate 3rd stage.
Now 5 weeks and 6 days, BW=3460 gms now weighs 4600gms, feeds 8-12 times per day, wet nappies 4-6 heavy per day, mustard stools one large at least once per day, sleeping 5-6 hours overnight.
Mum has 3mm diameter hole punch lacerations dead centre of nipple-and nipple thrush. Baby had oral symptoms now resolving with Nystat. Mum's symptoms are also resolving with Nystat and supportive measures.
Nipple damage has been fairly constant in last 3 weeks. I suspect this baby has learnt to feed well enough for his own needs but to the detriment of his mother's nipples. Question how do we educate him to latch better.
