Hi, Celia.

Maybe I am missing something.....why is the breastmilk being heated?

It's not necessary, either before storing it, or before giving it to the baby.

Obviously, frozen milk has to melt (!) before it 
can be given to the baby, but this can be done 
overnight in the fridge.

If the baby really, really doesn't want it cold, 
then the bottle can stand in a jug of hot water 
to warm it to body temp.

You seem to be heating milk before storing it, and I don't know why.
