I just wanted to say that my mother breastfed me for 9-12 months (not sure)
with much difficulty (food at 6 wks, no formula). When my sister came along
(1975) a neighbor told my mom of LLL. My mom never went because of a lack of
a car, but she did have my neighbor ask questions for her throughout the
next 12 months. She fed that baby only breastmilk for 9 months before
starting solids. 

 She is so grateful for that help as it helped to ensure the nursing of her
next 3 babies successfully.
