I have been asked if I know of any stats on "the percentage of women with
breastfeeding problems who are helped by using herbs?" The context is of
milk production and herbal galactogogues, and this would probably be most
accurately addressed by differentiating between primary
(physiological/hormonal) and secondary (management-related) milk
insufficiency. I don't think any such research has been done, or anything
even close, but if someone is aware of any literature at all that even
attempts to address this, please email me privately ASAP. Thank you!
