Opal,

I recently received a call from a mom whose newborn had been treated for
mastitis with antibiotics.  Baby seemed fine after the treatment.  About
a year ago, I saw a newborn male who had engorged breasts from which milk
could be expressed.  Baby did not seem to be in discomfort.  Eventually,
the engorgment passed.
