You know what? No "we" don't!  Why does this notion offend me?  It does,
though.  The idea that some so-called authority feels compelled to figure
out *for me* how long would be "optimal" for *me* to breastfeed *my* kids is
offensive.  Patronizing, too, while we're at it.  There are days when I wish
all of these high & mighty authority-types would just get out of
breastfeeding altogether, & leave us women and our babies the heck alone.  I
guess this is one of those days....
