Janet, pure nystatin powder has no additives and is quite bitter (the reason
the supension has so much sugar is to cover up the bitter taste). For more
info on nystatin powder, read Dr. William Crook's "The Yeast Connection and
The Woman."  On page 453, he give several pharmacies located in the US where
powdered nystatin can be obtained.  Dr. Crook's book is a great resource for
treatment of yeast problems of all types (except that he doesn't mention
nipple/breast yeast which seems strange because he use to be on the Medical
Advisory Board for LLLI).
