This is my first post to Lactnet although I have been lurking for a while.
I have permission to post and I have checked the archives.  I have a 27yo
mother of a 12mo daughter.  The mother has severe osteoporosis and needs to
take Fosomax (sp?).  Two doctors that she has been to are refusing to give
her this drug until she weans.  She has no intention of doing that.  She has
taken the info from Hale into her docs and they are still refusing.  She
needs and IBCLC and a doctor in her area who will give her this drug.  She
already has a vertebral fracture and is fairly desperate to get on this
medication.  She is in Sumter SC but is willing to travel as far as Florence
SC or Columbia SC.  Any information, names, advice greatly appreciated.
