That is interesting.

I had an Avent manual pump in 2001 and it worked well for me for the occasional time I needed it. I bought a new one in 2011 for my most recent baby and I couldn't get any milk out with it at all. I used a hospital grade pump the first 2 weeks when we had feeding issues and have used hand expression for the other few times I needed to pump after that.

I had just assumed my breasts were shaped different this time and the petals weren't pressing on the right spot. Maybe there was something wrong with the pump. I should take it out and play with it again.

Not just one or two, but a cluster. This would mean there are probably other buyers who just assume their breasts are at fault and not the pump, and don't take it back. I'm talking about brand new pumps, but second-hand ones from friends or online.
