I have a client who has a 3 month old baby and who has had 3 bouts of
mastitis since her delivery. She has only received antibiotic treatment
for the mastitis she developed in the past 2 days. It seems to recur in
the inner upper quadrant of her right breast. She is changing the
baby's position at the breast, ensuring the breast is well drained, and
doing everything else suggested to prevent recurrence. However, she
also has fibromyalgia which affects the upper half of her body. She
called me to ask if the recurrent mastitis and the fibromyalgia can
possibly be interconnected. Any comments, oh wise ones??

TIA!
