I received some questions from a mom yesterday that I am not sure how to 
answer.  I found a little information in the Ruth Lawrence's text but wanted to 
post to see if anyone had more info.
Mom works in a factory that makes car batteries.  She wears a 'respirator' 
while she works, showers before she leaves the factory every day and has her 
lead levels checked once a month.  Her blood level dropped from 35 to 18 when she 
became pregnant (from the prenatal vitamins/iron?).
She has an older child whom she nursed for 4 months.  This baby was checked 
for lead and it was 10 so she stopped nursing.  She has just delivered again 
and is concerned about lead in her milk. She has talked about nursing only until 
she goes back to work.  From the little I read in Lawrence I am assuming that 
it doesn't pass thru the milk.  I would appreciate any thoughts you have.
