Yesterday I went to get gas at the full serve station, a treat instead of
pumping it myself, and as the young guy attendant came around the back of my
van, I noticed him reading my bumper stickers and license plate (BFYRBAB) so
I said to him "Not your most common bumper stickers, are they?!?" to which
he replied "But doesn't every baby breastfeed?" I said, Bless you, but no,
unfortunatley they don't, so as the gas merrily chugged into my tank (30
gallons-- takes awhile) we both waxed poetic on the benefits of
breastfeeding and contrasted it to the "other stuff."

He said: "That formula stuff stinks-- and it wrecked my friend's microwave"

??How?? What ??

He said his friend was heating up a bottle of iron fortified formula, just
the bottle and liquid, no metal, and the sparks started flying all over the
place, and the very next day, the microwave oven was not working. His
belief was that the iron in the formaula was causing the sparking!

I have asked him to tell his friend to call me and tell me the same story,
but even if it becomes one of those urban legends you hear of occassionally,
I loved it!
