I have read with interest the comments on sleeping and BF. I had a 4 day
old in today -- BW 8#13 and discharge wt. 8#6 -- and the parents mentioned
wanting him to sleep longer at night. Before I went into my usual routine
about schedules, etc. I did his exam and weight. When I found that he
weighed  8#14.4 I told the mom to feed him on his demand and make him
happy!  If it isn't broken, don't fix it!
