One of the responses to my post on the use of the baby's Nystatin drops on
mom's nipple inquired if the drops were in an alcohol solution.  I called my
pharmacist this a.m. & he said there was <1% alcohol by volume, which he says
is pretty insignificant, and shouldn't cause further drying to nipple area if
used.  He said it was a syrup suspension, containing 50% sucrose (great,
huh!).
