Here is a recent paper with an interesting trial intervention concerning
probiotics during mastitis as *treatment* for mastitis. I dont' know if you
were asking this question in relation to the prevention of candida infection
as a secondary outcome of antibiotics as a treatment for mastitis.

Please note this paper used probiotics isolated from the breast milk of
healthy women. An interesting read, though not sure I could suggest this
for use in practice just yet.

as an alternative for the treatment of infectious mastitis during lactation.
