Hello!
I've looked through the archives and found many some information on this but not exactly what I'm after.
I have permission to post; a client of mine has a benign tumor in her pituitary gland discovered 5 weeks post partum. She fully breastfed her baby untill her doctor gave her paroldel to shrink the tumor. She took three doses and found that her milk supply decreased significantly. She reports being told that it would not affect lactation at all. Mom would really love to continue breastfeeding. She has an MRI today to see if the tumor is growing.
My questions are 1). How difficult will it be to bring back her milk? 2). Is there an other more breastfeeding friendly option for her if the tumor is still in fact growing and needs to be further medicated.

I'm new to the forum and really enjoy reading everyone's posts and responses.
Thanks for your input on this!

Best,
Amy Bohler
