At this link Mary Shomon, who has written so much about hypothyroidism interviews the author of a book on Graves' Disease.

People with such diagnoses need to know that there is far more information available than they are likely ever to get from an endocrinologist. I think the most important issues are inflammation and the autoimmune connection. Many autoimmune diseases go into remission during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Breastfeeding might be quite a gift to this mother.

There is sound evidence that use of aspartame can cause false diagnoses of Graves Disease.? Olympic diver Justin Dumais was "cured" of Graves Disease after quitting diet soda (aspartame).

It really is all about diet!
