Looking for insights
Have things changed? We have a group of new LCs not used to the premi 
population who are recommending use of Mothers Milk Teas, Nettle, Fennel, 
etc. We're talking Level 3 NICU patients, so I'm not really comfortable with 
these recommendations. I also am uncomfortable with hospital based LC's not 
clearing these recommendations via the neonatologists. 
Their answer is that books , LLL etc. say the use is ok- I say the books are 
written for the general term population and not a 1500 gm premie.
Am I just getting old and grumpy?
