I came across this:

http://www.celineonline.com/rc.html

and wondered what you think about it...anyone heard if she's "still"
nursing? The little boy looks positively "slim" compared to a lot of
the bibendum formula-fed babies out there of his age (about 6 mos). Not
starving by any means...but he reminds me a lot of one of my friends
children...her children (all nursed) are featherweights and therefore
don't have a lot of "baby pudge". I realize there is a proportion of
genetics at work in anyone, but I haven't seen very many "slim" formula
fed babies over time. Just breastfed ones... I think they look so much
more grown up in some ways, not having that baby pudge...this boy, if
one were to cut out just his face and place it elsewhere, could easily
pass for a much older boy rather than a small baby.

Also, living in a culture where people are obsessed with breasts as
"sexual objects" can help in some way...I remember hearing numerous
people say "Céline will never be able to nurse, she's flat as a pancake"
(as if that has anything to do with it at all!). Isn't that a nice
little curve we can see on her as she bends over (I'm sure it was all in
the game of things to do with the photo though...)? I mean, had I not
had this brought to my attention before she had a baby...I might not
have remembered what to "compare" it to.

Fio.
