Who's confused? Heard a prize one today while helping a mother of an
11-day-old infant achieve a correct latch. She was told in hospital to
clean her nipples before feeds with Milton (bottle and teat sterilizing
solution) and that her nipples should look like a Nuk teat (nipple)
when removed from baby's mouth.

Also, from another hospital, I was told that rooming-in causes sore
nipples! Lots of work to be done here in Cape Town!
