Sandy says,

<< "the AAP has made a statement that..........." and go into the
pluses and (potential) minuses associated with co-sleeping. >>

HAS the AAP come out with an official policy statement? If so, where can I
see it?

Jan Barger -- who is also wondering how many babies died in cribs between the
years 1985 & 1997 or whenever it was. And also, if 500 babies per year die
(IN THE UNITED STATES) BECAUSE they are formula fed, why is there no warning
against the use of formula? Let's see, in a 12 year period of time, that
would be 500X12 = 6000 babies. I haven't seen a policy statement from anyone
saying that the use of formula can potentially lead to the death of a child
EVEN in the good old US of A.
