We currently offer free weight checks at our hospital.  We have a Level 2 nursery with 800 deliveries/year.  There has been concern over the legality of weight checks with no ability to immediately offer breastfeeding assistance if needed.  Also, concerns over not having the information in "medical record" just kept in a log.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
