How traumatic for the little one...and how frustrating for the mom! Both
must be suffering from feelings of rejection. Perhaps eliminating the bottle
in favor of a cup   ( so that his sucking needs will not be fulfilled by a
bottle) and getting the mother to let-down before attempting to nurse might
help.
