If this was the case, and doctors had stopped doing overdone, often
unesscary procedures then why are they still doing circumsions,
episiotomies, unnecessary C-secions, etc.  ???????

Just my theory here, in the case of episiotomies and Cesareans anyway, those procedures make their lives easier!
(episiotomy shortens second stage and cesarean makes birth much more predictable for them).
Getting alittle off topic here although all these procedures do have a great effect on breastfeeding.
